Good guide, could be useful to someone. Only happened to me once after doing 6 or 7 shotties in about 10 minutes. Spent the next 4 hours hugging the toilet alternating between vomiting and semi-consciousness. Good times. But yeah the sweet thing is what I use. Normally have a bag of skittles or something on me if I'm…
Sonic 2 on megadrive, don't think I ever completed it though. Used to leave the console on overnight so I didn't have to start the whole thing again but most of the time my Mum or someone would turn it off and I'd always be going from the start. Lots of N64 games too; OoT, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Turok 2.
Always makes me laugh when Americans talk about menthols, the only people that smoke them in Britain are 14/15 year old girls who can't handle real cigarettes.
Yeah Homeworld 2 is an absolute classic that everyone should play, if they like strategy games anyway. Yeah it was pretty good, bit rough around the edges but it was kind of like Civilization in RTS form (in that you could go from primitive to futuristic, like you said) which was cool. Men of War is pretty good online, a…
There was a documentary over here a while back (Louis Theroux: America's Medicated Kid's) that was really interesting. Basically it's not so black and white, often the parents are at their wit's end and using medication is the only way they and their kids can have a somewhat normal life. Did make it clear that many…
Yeah pretty much this. I replayed the first one once to get the different results in the second one, doesn't really matter though. Read a plot summary on wikipedia or something.
Some of them are alright but a lot of them really aren't. I once spent a week on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean near Turkey (free holiday, I wouldn't normally go on a cruise) with a few hundred Germans - it was hell. To be fair though, I've never been to Germany and maybe that has something to do with it. I know a lot…
The ones you can make yourself are almost always a lot better than fast food ones. So homemade tomato sauce with basil, onion etc. cheddar cheese, red leicester cheese, olives, tuna, anchovies, peppers (bell peppers), jalapeno peppers, red onion, mozzarella on top, salt and pepper and oregano to season. Delicious.
With the last two Fables I followed all the previews and bought into the hype, both were disappointing but decent enough games. I'll probably try not to read anything about it this time and just take the game as it is.
Agreed. PC gaming for me hands down, the major factor being keyboard and mouse (and mods). Console gaming has it's benefits though. Like I would never play a GTA game on PC because they're just made for consoles.
Yeah I have a couple of them, if anyone wants to give it a go you can have a trial code. Don't know if it would be worth downloading though for only 7hrs play.
Yeah there is a lot of British gamers like that, just don't think we all are. French are the worst I've seen anyway generally, always come to English servers and refuse to speak English. Edit: There are a lot of loud, obnoxious etc. Americans though. I'm not ignorant enough to stereotype all Americans like that but in a…
Got one across the back of my hand, like starting between the knuckles of my index and middle finger and going down a couple of inches. Did it with a stanley knife I knocked accidently, was about 5mm away from severing a tendon.
Seems kind of strange, I'm guessing you can play them online - so is the only way to play the other two online? Has anyone played much multiplayer yet? What's it like?
Yep, these two. Arguably the two best drummers living drummers. Neil Peart and John Bonham deserve a mention as rock drummers. There's some pretty amazing jazz drummers too - Buddy Rich, Billy Cobham etc.
Yeah my grandparents do that, leave the radio on if they go out, they live in a fairly rough area though. All the lights and the TV is a bit much though.
Nice video, Danny Carey is the reason I still play the drums, so fun playing his parts. Edit: And Parabola is one of the easier Tool songs on drums, hardest part is like in the intro/chorus part where he does the beat with 3 quick bass drum beats. One of the easier songs by tool standards though is still harder than most…
Never had a SNES or NES so never played Mario til I got an N64, so for me the one I remember best is Sonic 2, don't think I ever finished it because of the whole no saves thing. Banjo Kazooie and Super Mario 64 were awesome once I got an N64 though.
You don't say what instrument you play Parabola on :) For me it's probably Ticks and Leeches (Tool) on the drums. Working on learning Coheed and Cambria - Guns of Summer now, easily the most complicated song I've ever tried to learn.
Very, very nice, thanks a lot. Started downloading some now. Here's one more (posted it in SotD but fits as well here) Franz Bardon - Initiation into Hermetics http://www.scribd.com/mobile/documents/301820 Edit: Is it just me or does anyone hate reading books on a computer screen?
Haven't payed for a train ticket for years. Over here they always have a conductor going up and down the train after each stop asking for tickets, if it's a busy train I just sit in a window seat and either pretend I'm sleeping or don't make eye contact with the conductor - usually they think you've been on a while. Hiding…
