New York Times reporter Katie Benner suggested on Tuesday that in order to tackle America’s current national security “dilemma,” Trump supporters should be considered “enemies of the state.”
As the first hearing of the Jan. 6 committee was underway on Capitol Hill, Benner took to Twitter to stress that it “underscores” what she indicated was the ongoing threat within the U.S.
“Today’s #January6thSelectCommittee underscores the America’s current, essential natsec dilemma: Work to combat legitimate national security threats now entails calling a politician’s supporters enemies of the state,” Benner wrote in now-deleted tweets.

This New York reporter is insulting and falsely accusing more than 75M Americans “enemies of the State”. Because of their conservative values: American citizens who believe in the Constitution, in freedom of religion, the sacredness of life and the incalculable value of family and country! Who does she think she is and why the NY media allows such outrageous accusations against more than half of the American population!! Where are the Big Tech censors and where is the Supreme Court declaration against such dangerous accusations! How about the present administration DOJ declaring such statements a violation of the rights of Americans under the CONSTITUTION!
The enemies of the state are communists like her who want to rule with total control and no other opinions allowed. She and those like her should try going to China or Venezuela to experience what they want for the majority of people in this country, which is supposedly still a free country.
