Former President Donald Trump never disappoints. While responding to the news of the U.S. women’s soccer team embarrassing performance in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, President Trump specifically targeted woke liberal soccer player Megan Rapinoe who has a history of degrading America
The former president held nothing back as he torched the team for being “Leftist Maniacs” calling Rapinoe the “woman with the purple hair.”

“If our soccer team, headed by a radical group of Leftist Maniacs, wasn’t woke, they would have won the Gold Medal instead of the Bronze,” Trump said. “Woke means you lose, everything that is woke goes bad, and our soccer team certainly has. There were, however, a few Patriots standing. Unfortunately, they need more than that respecting our Country and National Anthem. They should replace the wokesters with Patriots and start winning again. The woman with the purple hair played terribly and spends too much time thinking about Radical Left politics and not doing her job!”
The US women’s soccer team who are commonly referred to as the “best women’s team in the world,” finished the Tokyo Olympics in third place after having a disastrous Olympics.
The team, led by raging liberal Megan Rapinoe, seems to be spending more time on political activism than soccer considering they got completely obliterated on the world stage.
Team USA women’s soccer barely beat the Australian team, 4-3 to win bronze.

Although the team was expected to bring home a gold medal, they will settle for the bronze — the first medal the United States has won in women’s soccer since the 2012 London Olympics. They lost to Sweden in the semifinal round in Rio in 2016, knocking them out of medal contention.
Before 2012, the team won four of the five gold medals given out since women’s soccer became an Olympic sport in 1996, missing the top step of the podium only once, at the Sydney Games in 2000, when they took silver.
“The team wasn’t standing atop the perch it expected, nor were the medals around the players’ necks the color they hoped, but they made an important return to the podium after failing to get there in 2016 for the first time,” NBC News reported on Thursday. “It was two of the team’s gold-medal-winning veterans who helped get them there Thursday. Megan Rapinoe and Carli Lloyd each scored two goals to lead the U.S. to a 4-3 win over Australia in the bronze medal game at the Tokyo Olympics.”
Many proud patriotic Americans were actually happy to see the woke U.S. soccer team completely fail in the Olympics considering the team has shown time after time that they do not respect or appreciate the United States of America.
“Happiest people on planet Earth today? I’m guessing not the shareholders of Victoria’s Secret, where Megan Rapinoe will now have tons of free time to rep the brand!” conservative author Ann Coulter tweeted after the devastating loss.
Tablet Magazine’s Noam Blum said: “oh the soccer team lost? what a shame.”
“I’ll say this again – I think people who aren’t proud of this country shouldn’t be barred from representing it internationally. They just shouldn’t expect their country to root for them,” he added.
Evangelist Franklin Graham asserted that the loss was most likely due to “political wokeness” rather than playing the game of soccer.
“The US women’s Olympic soccer team lost to Canada for the 1st time in 20 yrs, & I think a lot of people saw it coming. It seems they’ve lost their focus & instead became more focused on political wokeness & using the Olympic stage to promote their agendas,” Graham said.
Radio host Clay Travis had a similar theory.
“The US Women’s Soccer team just lost to Canada and many enjoyed the loss. In 2015 the US women were one of the most popular teams in American history. What happened? Woke sports destroys everything it touches,” Travis said. “The US women had a golden opportunity to wax eloquent about American exceptionalism on a global stage. After all, one primary reason our women dominate soccer is because most women around the world lack basic human rights. Instead, they ripped America.”
“Instead of holding America up to the world as a shining example of equality & opportunity for women around the world, they tore us down. Many American sports fans will never forget this. The result? I’ve never seen a team squander more love & goodwill in my life as a sports fan,” he continued.
